Scholarships

The Caines Family Foundation administers awards to recognize individuals, who are living, giving and serving by example to improve and enhance educational initiatives, strengthen economic development and promote healthy families. 

The Foundation offers full or partial scholarships for studies related to the fields of education, management and leadership development, business development or health. Our mandate in this area seeks to develop the potential of future educators, business and tech entrepreneurs, and health and medical practitioners. 

The four scholarships are as follows:

  • Dr. Ismay Taylor Leadership in Education Scholarship

    This is an award that recognizes individuals whose principles, strategies, and best practices are helping to prepare St.Kitts and Nevis teachers to become future leaders in education.

  • Richard L. Caines Excellence in Business & Economic Development Scholarship

    This award recognizes entrepreneurs developing successful businesses and improving the economic development of St. Kitts and Nevis.

  • Troy T. Taylor Innovation in Technology and Entrepreneurship Scholarship

    This is an award to recognize entrepreneurs who have been in the forefront of developing technological advances that forward the economy of St. Kitts and Nevis.

  • Dr. Stanley E. Caines Health & Wellness Development Scholarship

    This is an award provided to an individual or a project promoting and improving the physical health, mental health, overall wellness, and quality of life for the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Prerequisites

Applicants must be currently pursuing studies related to the fields of education, management and leadership development, business development or health.

Our scholarship provisions may include assistance for expenses related to any of the following in relation to the recipient planned course of study:

  1. Tuition fees

  2. Accommodation subsidy

  3. Monthly allowance

  4. Book/computer allowance.
